Our national Organization...
In 1998 eight people in Atlanta, Georgia, unable to find another gay & libertarian organization that sought to reach out to the gay community on behalf of the Libertarian Party and encourage greater participation in the party by GLBTQ individuals, decided to start their own. Outright Libertarians has Officers and an Executive Committee made of those Officers and of our State Coordinators. They are elected yearly at a General Conference Meeting of the membership which is both physical and virtual so all can attend. Name From the dictionary: Outright 1. Without reservation or qualification; openly. While our members are "out" as members of the LGBTQ community, we are definitely NOT on the "right" of the political spectrum. Outright (capital O, lowercase r) is all one word.
